DAVINA
Speech Pathology Student (Final year)
“Davina is a final year Speech Pathology Student at the University of Sydney.
She has been working at Learn & Grow Speech since October 2020. She also has experience working as a tutor.
Davina is an energetic and engaging therapist who knows how to bring the fun to her sessions.
Davina says:
“I love learning about the many ways we communicate and find it fascinating how children learn, understand and express themselves as they grow. I am passionate about helping others and enjoy being part of the journey children take as they start learning about our world!
When I am not studying, I like star gazing, playing board games or taking my dog on very long walks (we sometimes play hide-and-seek too!). I am always keen to try new food, experience different cultures and visit the many beautiful places our world has to offer.”
Davina works with our clients at home or education site between their Speech Pathology sessions to help them practice their therapy goals.

Our Philosophy
01
Therapy should be fun!
Play is our brain’s favourite way of learning. High quality, evidence based therapy doesn’t need to be boring! We make sure your child looks forward to our sessions (and hopefully you do too!).
02
Children learn best in their natural environments
Young children generally learn best when we work in the setting they are playing, learning and socialising in everyday. This is why we provide the option for therapy sessions at home, childcare or even the local playground!
03
It takes a village
The more people on board with supporting your child in their goals – the faster the progress! We love working with parents, siblings, educators and other therapists.
